Gorgeous Glass Modernism

Fulham glass exterior

Doubling the size of this property, this massive extension accommodates room for a fantastic new dining room, kitchen, living room and 5 bedrooms, all designed with lifestyle and luxury in mind, the use of glass making a real aesthetic impact.

This Georgian terraced house in a beautiful area of leafy London was cramped and dingy, having not been modernised for over 40 years. The decision to extend the property on all 5 floor levels gave massive scope to the structural and design decisions, which were extensively discussed with the client to ensure the outcome would suit their lifestyle and fulfil any requirements.
Naturally with 5 floors, the staircase was a dominant feature of the property. To allow light to flood down into the lower ground floor, bespoke glass balustrades were selected, designed to add impact and a contemporary feel to the property style and architecture. Clad in Zebrano worktop, the staircase looks fantastic as centrepiece running throughout the interior. This solid wood texture is then echoed around the house to bring consistency to the aesthetic.

"High level of professional service. Very focussed on all details. Huge knowledge about all finishing materials. I can recommend this company for everyone who expecting high quality finish, friendly atmosphere and professional service."

As well as the impressive 5 storey extension, this project involved a garden redesign and installation of a garden office. The combination of a stunning, slightly reflective patio with modern garden lighting and natural greenery gorgeously guides you to the modern garden office, finished with large patio doors and contemporary feature plants. This was a huge project with so much potential for creativity and originality, and the outcome really was fantastic.

"Nicola has great attention to detail and determination to get the project completed on time (including management of contractors) and to budget."
